  Training

  •  No-slip "martingle style" collar

  • *   ID Tag with at leat one phone number

  • *   Choke Chain (add 4" to the circumferance of their        neck.

  • Leather Lead (6')  I like 1/4" but 1/2" is good too.  Do not invest in too heavy of lead (or snap) for you puppy.  The stregth of your lead is not what is going to control your dog.

  • Slip Lead- Euro lead.  Great for convincing a stubborn dog to get off the bed/sofa/go out the back door, etc.

  •  

Grooming

  • Sulfate Free Shampoo
    (For white dogs or those with white points, I use Paul Mitchell Blonde "Platinum Blonde")

  • Pin Brush

  • Metal Comb

  • "Furminator" style brush

  • Nail Clippers

  • Styptic Powder

  • Grooming Shears

  • Tooth Brush/Paste (for dogs no imitation sugar)

  • Tooth scaler (most groomers can do this for you.) or have your veterinarian do a thorough cleaning.



Kenneling

  • Stainless Steel Food Bowl

  • Stainless Steel Water Pail

  • Crate(s)

  • Car Hammock (for sedan)

  • Barrier (for minivan/SUV)

 

  First Aid
